Which player reads what
Players with similar names can treat the same file differently. Pick yours to see what it plays, how to set up the stick, and where it finds your playlists. Playproof uses exactly this when it gets your music ready.
What the words mean
- Plays
- The kinds of music file the player can load. Playproof converts anything else.
- Sound quality up to
- The most detailed files the player can play. A CD is 44.1 kHz and 16-bit; studio files go higher. A file above the player's limit won't load, so Playproof converts it down. You won't hear the difference.
- USB stick format
- How the stick must be set up for this player to read it. FAT32 works on every player. Setting up a USB stick
- Playlists and cues from
- Where the player finds your playlists and cue points. Without it, the player still plays your tracks, but only by folder. About OneLibrary and Device Library

Where this comes from
AlphaTheta's and Denon DJ's own manuals and help pages, and SaveMyGig's compatibility list, which follows firmware updates. Last checked in October 2026. If your player behaves differently, it has probably had an update. Please tell us at hello@playproof.app and we'll fix it.
